Dendera – Temple of the Goddess Hathor – Temple of unconditional love, memory of the soul and joy and return to the light.
On the journey through the Egyptian temples, there are places that challenge us to grow, and then there are places that embrace us.
Dendera belongs to the latter.
The Temple of the Goddess Hathor is not about achievement, overcoming, or initiation through pain. It is about remembering. About returning to what we once knew but have forgotten along the way: that joy is sacred and the body is the temple of the soul.
When I entered Dendera, I felt a pleasant warmth in my chest and lower abdomen. The space felt soft, calm, and safe in a feminine way.
Hathor – the goddess of love, music, dance, sensuality and joy – is not an archetype on a pedestal here. She is a living presence that invites us back into the body.
It is a temple carrying energy💚The 4th chakra - the heart chakra, and at the same time connects you to the 2nd chakra - the relationship chakra - with the theme of femininity and pleasure.
It is another temple that is absolutely crucial for happy relationships, starting with the relationship with yourself (2nd chakra) and loving relationships with others.
Temple of Dendera
️ dissolves blocks in the area of love – injustice, betrayal, suffering…
️ dissolves the fear of loving unconditionally and breaks down the walls around the heart
️ opens channels of receiving and giving not only unconditional love
️ It saturates with unconditional love and compassion, gratitude and kindness.
On my journey through the temples of Egypt, Dendera is a place of deep return to oneself, to the portal of one's heart.
After the power temples, where will, truth and structure were activated, here comes another initiation: ALLOW YOURSELF TO FEEL PLEASURE WITHOUT GUILT.
Dendera teaches that the spiritual journey is not an escape from the body, but a full embodiment. That self-love does not begin with affirmation, but with a loving relationship with one's own experience. With the breath. With the voice. With the emotions that want to flow.
The temple's star chart ceiling, famous zodiac, and sacred geometry are not just for admiration. They remind us that we are part of the cosmic rhythm – and that joy is not a distraction, but an attunement to it.
Here too, we will visit secret corridors and a sanctuary that ordinary tourists cannot reach.
We will also visit the room where Isis reassembled the dismembered body of her husband Osiris, it is a mystical place with the beautiful energy of unconditional love...❤
In Dendera I asked myself a different question than in other temples:
Do I allow myself to be happy without having to deserve it?
Can I accept without apologizing?
This temple heals deep layers – especially those where we were once taught that love and joy were dangerous, too noisy, too feminine, or “not very spiritual.”
Hathor gently dissolves these old vows and returns us to nature.
On the journey through the temples of Egypt, Dendera is a place of integration. Where spirit and body meet again. Where light is not sought, but received.
Dendera teaches us to stay. In ourselves. In joy. In an open heart.
And maybe that's why it's so healing.
