ABU SIMBEL – the first temple we will visit on ⚜️Journey to the Key of Life through the Temples of Egypt with a Private Nile Cruise ⛵ – March 2026
The Abu Simbel temple is located in the south of Egypt - in Nubia, an area that was an important part of Egypt because there were large gold deposits there.
On our temple pilgrimage, Abu Simbel is the starting point, although people often visit it at the end.
However, I feel that energetically it belongs at the beginning of the journey.
Energetically, the Abu Simbel temple is a kind of gateway to incarnation, i.e. the decision whether to be born as a man or a woman.
The temple complex of 2 temples – male and female – brings to light the masculine-feminine themes within you.
✨✨✨
MALE TEMPLE dedicated to Ramesses II and Osiris
From the outside of the temple you can see 4 monumental statues of a seated Ramesses II = four levels of being.
From left to right, from its youngest version to its oldest.
Entering the temple will take your breath away...
To the right and left stand huge statues of Osiris – the god of fertility, rebirth and the underworld…
️ The temple carries masculine energy – bright, strong, combative and tough.
At this moment, your body begins to respond to male energy…
What topics does this temple open up to women?
➡️Forgiveness to men – fathers, partners….
➡️Healing the male lineage
➡️Respect for men – an opportunity to bow to statues and acknowledge your inner man, as well as the men in your life
➡️Processing the hurt of men and releasing into trust for men
➡️ Harmonization of male energy - inner man - release of excess male energy or, conversely, saturation
If a man enters the temple, the same themes are revealed, as well as recognition of himself, of his masculine power.
✨✨✨
WOMEN'S TEMPLE dedicated to Nefertari and Hathor
From the outside of the temple, you can see standing statues of Ramesses II and his favorite wife, Nefertari, as well as statues of Hathor and Osiria.
This is a very unusual phenomenon – most of the pharaohs' wives were in the form of statues reaching down to their knees...
From this alone it is clear that Ramesses II greatly respected and loved his wife.
Entering the temple, you feel a completely different energy than in the previous temple...
To the right and left stand huge statues of the goddess Hathor – the goddess of love, motherhood, joy and pleasure…
️ The temple carries feminine energy – gentle, soft, kind and caring…
At this moment, your body begins to respond to this feminine energy…
What topics does this temple open up to women?
➡️Forgiveness for women – yourself, your mother, other women….
➡️Healing the female lineage
➡️Respect for women, including yourself – the opportunity to bow to statues and acknowledge your inner woman
➡️Processing your wound of womanhood, motherhood and releasing yourself into self-love, self-confidence and self-esteem
➡️ Harmonization of female energy – inner woman – saturation of female energy, or release of excess female energy
If a man enters the temple, the same themes emerge as he has with women.
Abu Simbel says:
"Only when you stand up to your own greatness can you move on."
We usually spend about 1 - 1,5 hours here.
We are in no hurry, we give ourselves space and time to perceive the energy, and let the temple work.
And that is one of the great advantages of this journey…
No rush, we'll discuss everything, just relax...
Everyone has their own themes and exactly what everyone needs happens… in lightness and kindness.
I am ready to support you when you say... I fundamentally do not enter your process, your energy without your consent...😉
After leaving the temple complex, we feel relaxed, attuned and harmonized….🥰
And then comes the Temple of Stomach, as my colleague Ashraf says, or a meal at a great local restaurant, and then a return to the hotel in Aswan.
Integration of experiences is an important part of this journey, which is why we always have 1 temple per day, except for one day.
The point is not to "re-church" this journey, "re-meditate" it, "re-ritualize" it..., but to honor the body's capacity ❤
And last but not least, I want to mention an important person on this journey.
Colleague Ashraf, a local Egyptologist, who is with us throughout the trip, enriches us with his great knowledge of history, is able to take us to sanctuaries and places that are closed to the average tourist, and also ensures the smooth running of the trip…🙏
So both history and spirituality lovers will find something to their liking.😉
Do the themes of this temple resonate with you?
What energy do you perceive from the photos of the temple?
